EAC-3 on Chromecast 3 problems

Server Version#: 4.12.3
Player Version#: 7.27.0.15018
Phone: Android Galaxy S8 Plus.
Server: Running on Windows 10.

So, my Chromecast is connected to my reciver.
Video and audio normaly works perfectly, but EAC-3 produces no audio.

I have a other TV device, it works just fine with EAC-3 in the same HDMI port.
Also using the Plex Windows program, running to the reciver works just fine.

But, here is the wierd thing.
Some times it starts working, after 30-60 seconds of silence.
After that, i can see whole movies, if I dont pause.

What i have done:
I have tried changing the settings in the Android device, that i control the settings from.
There are no settings that helped in my reciver.
Tried changing the XML file (I changed back to the default settings).
Diffrent cast devices.
Diffrent Plex servers (Running on NAS and on Windows).
Other devices works just fine with EAC-3 in my reciver.
I changed my old Chromecast 2 for a Chromecast 3 (Just to see if it helped).

This guy is apparently my twin cause i have the same set up and am having the same exact issues. If i play the same file on plex using the ps4 plex app, which is connected into the same receiver as the chrome cast, it works fine. Also sometimes the audio will work, but when i turn on a subtitle then the audio stops working. Turning the subtitles back off doesnt fix it. But if i mess with it enough and turn everything off and on again, then turn subtitles on and off, and just repeat those actions…some times it fixes itself eventually. some times.

Sounds exactly like my issue.
I wonder if it is a Chromecast issue, or a Plex issue.
It seems to be a combination of the 2.

my guess is it’s the plex app for chromecast specifically. If you google “plex chromecast” it auto completes with “no audio”. So it’s obviously been around for a while.

Hmm, nobody has any ideas.

So i still have the same issue.
Yesterday, i played a bunch of EAC-3 and it all worked, until pausing or fast forwarding.

To yesterday i played many clips, and many worked.
Today, nothing seems to be working. I’m just about to give up.
