EAC3 issue

Hello, I’ve been using Plex for over a year now and everything was great until I get to know EAC3, whenever I try to play a video my Plex application either restart, or I’m left with a message
“Playback has stopped because the connection to the Plex Media Server has been lost. Please ensure the server is available and retry”.

The error message I get is wrong since, when I’m picking a movie or a tv show with AAC or AC3 it’s working fine.

I’ve tried to look at the logs file but since it doesn’t even start playing, I got nothing.

I’ve made some research on the forum as well but no solution for me :confused:

I’ve tried to stop the PMS, delete the codec directory and restart it but this didn’t work.

PS: If I use Kodi to get to Plex, sometimes the video are working and I can watch them without issue, it’s more a workaround than a real solution, and I’d like to keep using the official app.

Basically turn off new video player option in Plex app.
