Edimax EW-7811Un Network Failed

I am sorry in advance if this has been talked about already, but I am a noob at this ATM and need some help.
I am using RasPlex 0.1.37 and using a Edimax EW-7811Un, but every time I try to connect to my WLAN I get a message that “the network failed”. I read on several posts that you need to reboot after, but it does not seem to work. My WLAN SSID is broadcasted an using WPA2-Personal ASE. Any thoughts or ideas would be greatly appreciated?

Thanks,
Evans

Well I tested out connecting to my guest WLAN using WPA TKIP, and it connected without issue.

The question now is, are there known issues connecting with WPA2 ASE? If so, I can probably use this guest WLAN with a little less security for my RasPlex <_<.

Mine is working fine with WPA2 (AES, no TKIP).

Mine is working fine with WPA2 (AES, no TKIP).

Wow, not helpful  ;) but I guess I could of added more info too  .

Make, Model: Netgear WNDR3700 v1

Security Option: WPA-PSK [TKIP] + WPA2-PSK [AES]  (Now), was on WPA2-PSK [AES]. Does your device have and are you using a WPA-PSK [TKIP] + WPA2-PSK [AES] SO mode?

Advanced WiFi Settings? For instance:

Fragmentation Length: 2346

CTS/RTS Threshold: 2347

Preamble Mode: Auto

Thanks,

Evans

As already mentioned: Mine is on WPA2-PSK with AES encryption. I don't use TKIP.

If you have some UNIX/Linux skills, just login via ssh and try to debug the connman daemon by using connmanctl and take a look at the syslog.
