I am making my own shows, and I heard that with MP4 files, you can actually edit metadata directly in the file, and have that populate plex information directly. What tags/names are used, and what editor are folks using that will do this properly? I was thinking I would just check properties in windows, but it is not letting me add or edit anything.
You might want to check out mp3tag (despite its name) or TinyMediaManager to manage a file’s embedded metadata on Windows.
