Could plex implement some kind of editor for the Play History database?
For example, I have friends who I no longer share any libraries with, but of course their play history still shows when I navigate through my Dashboard to Play History.
I would like to be able to delete complete records of users like this please.

Isn’t the history in Tautulli a separate database from plex?
I agree, there should be more tools for editing metadata. However if its a one time thing and you have a dangerous side, you could dip into the database and do it manually?
Do I Have to be proficient (or even familiar) with python to be able to use it?
I don’t know if Tautulli maintains a separate db. I wouldn’t think there’s much point to even having an edit capability if it isn’t written to the Plex db.
No. I have no expertise with it. I just followed the instructions to install.

I’ll check on this with some testing, but my watch status goes back years and only see back to 2019 on Tautulli.
It does. It can only import history from its predecessors (PlexWatch, Plexivity) but not from Plex server.
