Trying to change my email address results in an error, trying to delete my account demands that I change my password via, you guessed it, an email link that is to be sent to me. I don’t have access to that address anymore. What are my options?
I have the same problem. I want to change my email address listed for my account because I don’t have access to my old one. This prevents me from changing my password.
Scroll down to the password section and select Edit. You’ll then be prompted to enter a new password and your current password. Also, check the “sign out of all devices” box.
Once your password is changed, you can return to Account Settings and delete your account if desired (at bottom of Account Settings page).
I was able to change my password, but not my email address. When I try to edit the old email address it says “A verification email has been sent to the address above. Please follow the instructions in the email to verify your account” with the “verification email” apparently going to old email address that I can no longer access.
