Hi, I don’t know where to post this so if I’m in the wrong place, feel free to move this thread.
I haven’t used Plex for a while and a few months ago I had problems with the sound on some files.
Now I decided to try it again and updated my Plex. On my Sony Bravia TV, I can find Plex, see the folders but can’t see the file.
No files are visible. I feel I’m kinda done with Plex after having so many issues. Is this their way of force me to their app or something? My TV doesn’t support the app so there’s no go anyway. Empty folders in movie and TV-show folder.

my Sony Bravia 2010 shows the files. When trying to play a movie the result is “Playback not available”. I’ve updated to 1.3.0.3059, which currently is the latest, I believe.
I’ve got another option, though. Plex App for Android and ChromeCast work very well with the TV.

It seems like there is a bug that they still haven’t solved. I tried many different Plex versions. All, yes all version 1 and up has either empty folders or audio issues with some files.
I then tried the latest under version 1 which is version 0.9.16.6 and everything works! No empty folders and audio works on everything.
So something went down in version 1 that still hasn’t been fixed at least for my model of the TV.
I will just stay at this version or get a Chromecast and upgrade to the latest. Not sure. It’s possible that I would have audio issues with that too. At least now it works.
