I am not sure if this is the correct forum for placing an enhancement request. The Plex service has been doing very well for me overall. I have a FreeNAS server in place to capture and serve as primary point for in-house media service, I am using the Silicondust HD Homerun Extend OTA receiver which has been working very well. I am able to play media through my Win10 based computers, my Android mobile devices, and through an Xbox One connected to TV. When using the PlexTV app on my mobile devices, it works excellent, the layout is easy to drive, and has covered all my needs. The Xbox One app lacks a bit, and the web browsing through Xbox is not a great substitute. For the PC, I have seen the PlexTV app is no longer available in the Win10 App store, but there I can use a browser just fine (been using Google Chrome for playing Plex Media).
My enhancement request then is for the PlexTV app on Xbox One. Would it be possible to enhance the Xbox One PlexTV app to have the same layout as the Android version of the app? Specifically, the channel guide feature on the Android app is very nice, but what is available in the Xbox One isn’t that usable. I find I have to have a mobile device for the channel guide just to see what is coming up because the Xbox One app really doesn’t provide an efficient way of scanning through broadcast programs.
