Every week or so my EPG is empty and no recordings occur. I refresh the EPG and it doesn’t help. Only after I restart the box and it refreshes itself will it get new guide data and the upcoming recordings will get populated. This pretty much guarantees that I will always miss recordings making this not super useful for the family atm.
Anyone else with this prob? Any logs I can send to Plex to help troubleshoot? Running latest ver… Thanks.
This is an ongoing issue for many people … a search through the DVD forum will give you lots of examples. It’s been an issue for months. I just get into the habit of reviewing the upcoming recordings a few times a week and when react accordingly when it’s empty. I’m not aware of any lasting fix for the issue.
You have to reboot the box for new guide data also?
A reboot does not solve it for me when I have the empty Guide. I have to switch from the basic guide to Enchanced, let it update, then I’ll have data again. When I lose it again, I switch back to basic. And occasionally, that won’t work either and I’ll have to either remove the DVR or uninstall/reinstall Plex.
Yes this is the same problem I am experiencing! I can appreciate that its a Beta feature, but its doesn’t seem to be getting fixed.
Yep needing multiple reboots/messing around now too…
Plex folks anything you can do to take a look into this? Hard to depend on it for DVR if you need to mess around every few days or else!!

Count me in as another one who has been having major issues with program guide data for the last month or so (if not longer). Seems to have trouble refreshing to 100% and constantly is empty, which means nothing records since there is no guide data to tell plex when or what to record. Kind of surprised they moved this out of beta…
