i make a new test tonight, in the EPG section, same message"The Guide is empty"
in setting, in Live TV & DVR section, I click on Refresh Guide (at 21H45 Paris time)
the display change, ārefreshing on data (0%) - initializingā, after Two or three second , i see quickly 1% and display become again āRefresh Guideā.
after Ten minutes, i click again on Guide, and the message is the same. The āGuide Is emptyā
the Enhanced Program Guide is enable.
i disable for test this option, i make again refresh guide at 21H52 (paris time), same thingā¦
the plex server log, is in attchment,

HI when trying to add dvr to plex it gets to the epg screen then does not move from 0% am I doing something wrong
Iāve had exactly same issue. since a couple of Plex updates ago. And with that EPG error you canāt with anything through DVR. With newest version 1.113.2.5102 and deleting DVR then setting it up again everything works!
Me too I am stuck at 0% when trying to download EPG.
I am in italy and I have tried with multiple CAP (Postal Codes) but it is always stuck at 0%.
I am using an NVIDIA Shield

I began a new thread concerning reconfiguration of the tuners/guide related to the frequency re-pack we had happen in the DFW market today. A couple stations changed frequencies.
The only way to get PLEX to see the channels again was to delete the DVR and re-add the 4 two tuner devices associated with my 2 Hauppauge quad tuners. Now each channel shows up 7 times in the ROKU guide. Youāll see the logs in the linked thread. Really sad to have spent all this time to accommodate a frequency change. I asked back on April 17th in preparation for this and received no response. This will soon be a recurring thing across the US as the frequency re-pack accelerates. How about ignoring podcasts and focus on the paying customers???

Looking at your logs
The only way to handle frequency changes is to rescan channels and this is only available in setup. There should be no impact and all existing schedules would get re-instated.

Actually the rescan did NOT work. Had to delete the DVR and start from scratch. I will move to the other thread.
Just found my guide empty, even though it recorded successfully last night, and scheduled recordings were present out till next week. 1.13.2.5102.
Have manually refreshed the guide and its come back now. Wondering why this happened, if its something I have to worry about. Logs attached.

I can see a manual refresh at May 31, 2018 20:17:12
I see that the server was relaunched before that at 20:15 and that internet connectivity for the server was down for first 2 minutes
I need to establish if loss of internet connection is a factor
Logs show that internet connectivity and DNS fails for first 2 minutes when server is relaunched. Also DNS fails some times when server is running
May 29 Logs from 19:55 - Internet connectivity from server down until 20:13
May 31 00:00 Internet connectivity lost. Server shutdown 00:45. Relaunched at 00:46 but internet and DNS did not work till 00:47
May 31 01:16 server relaunched, Internet connectivity till 01:18
May 31 20:15 server relaunched, Internet connectivity again down at time of launch. Regained internet connectivity and DNS lookups at 20:17
I can see these EPG refreshes
May 31 at 19:42 a refresh started
Reached 87% at 20:14
Refresh cancelled at 20:14
May 31 at 20:14 new refresh started
Reached 12% then server restarted at 20:15
Manual refresh of EPG at 20:17
So when was the EPG empty?
And could you look into why the network interface is failing for internet connectivity and DNS
Any power saving options?

This problem is back for me. Is it just a Ontario/Canada thing again?
Update: Seems to be working again after a few days of no guide updates.

Thank you for the information. The error you were getting in the EPG refresh responses from Gracenote was
{"errorCode":1005,"errorMessage":"invalid_lineup_id"}
I have not been able to reproduce the issue using the setup details provided and post code. Must have been some anomaly when the DVR was first setup.
I understand that the problem has been resolved after deleting the DVR and going through setup again
