I have noticed this happening a lot recently - and it really has become annoying beyond the point of usability. I have Channels DVR set up recently because I could not trust Plex. An example - CBS Reality is showing Bondi Rescue at around 5am every day. I record it on ChannelsDVR - all is good. Plex claims that Judge Judy is on. There are other examples I have come accross. Oh and detect commerical - just does not work. It does on ChannelsDVR

It’s been terrible for over a year now (since they moved from Gracenote to Tivo in July, 2019). I stopped using it in favour of an external xml source last August as I could see there was no way it would be fixed quickly…
However, this announcement might make you feel a little better.
