EPG incorrect for just a single show?

I’m finding that the EPG is wrong for ONLY Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood on my local PBS station. Other shows on that station appear to have the correct mapping (i.e., Sesame Street).

DTN gets recorded, but the season and/or episode is an incorrect match. Has anyone seen this or know how to address it?

Thanks!

Probably because they air two episodes in the same time slot. Surprised you actually see other PBS shows with correct information, Curious George never seems to match. Others have also noted issues with other kids shows as well as shows such as Nova that never match correctly either. Then the question also becomes doesn’t match to what? Don’t see on PBS Kids where they list the season/episode for today’s episode(s).

Looking at my Program Guide for today I see the show airing at 4:30 pm as PBS Kids states. Plex shows S3 E15.

However, TheTVDB for the show today states it is Episode 33 & 34.

Or is it S3 E16 as IMDB reports?

Or perhaps S3 E27 & 28 as reported by TV Guide?

So is it E15, E16, E27 & 28, or E33 & 34? Guess it depends on which source you want to say is accurate.

Plex does provide a Google Form that can be used for reporting Guide Data issues but not sure if it would really fit for this show since which source is accurate. The thread to the Google Form is pinned at the top of the DVR & Live TV forum if you need to use it in the future: https://forums.plex.tv/discussion/281569/reporting-gracenote-epg-data-issues#latest.

Thanks for the thorough investigation! I have the DVR configured to record from a single channel source, so I would imagine that could help the system align the correct airing, but it seems to not have an effect.

I have found with PBS to just take what Plex shows as the Season/Episode. Figuring out what it actually should be just makes you want to pull your hair out.
