Have you vetted the file for embedded metadata w/ conflicting information re/ season/episode?

Whats the best way to do that on a Ubuntu server? And is there a way to remove the metadata if it does conflict. It was a straight download using get_iplayer.

If you’re using the Plex TV Series agent you can simply disable the option to Prefer local metadata (⋮ > Manage Library > Edit... → Advanced). Yeah that’s what I ended up having to do! Never happened before and had tried renaming amd moving about 10 times already so must have been the meta data, didn’t realise Plex listened to that.

You might need to do a Plex Dance to make Plex forget it had already matched that episode into season 20
