Every time I start an episode of something, the first minute or so is stuttered like it’s buffering or something. After a bit it shows the rest of the episode fine but it really sucks at the beginning. Is there a fix for this?
What is the file format that you’re experiencing the issue with? Are you trying to direct-play? I have this issue when I direct-play any 720 & 1080 MKVs with 5.1 AC3 audio. It started happening with the NXOE Dashboard.
Some folks suggest hitting the right D-pad to back it up a little. This only works a fraction of the time for me and it seems to have more success on 720p/lower bitrate files.
Plex is aware and it used to be on the ‘known issues’ sticky. Not sure why they took it off. It’s believed to be a platform issue and the thought is that it needs to be fixed on Microsoft’s side.
Same issue, and yes, on 1080p MKV’s with 5.1 AC3 audio is what it’s doing it on.
