I started using the plex app on xbox one, and it was going well (does everything I need it to at the moment, which is play my plex library :p).
Several times the voice response has just stopped whilst in plex - not even responding to 'xbox'. This often happens after watching something for a while. Exiting the app manually using the controller restores function, but it's a pain.
One time on the main it lost all its 'local' commands, so xbox select didn't work but I could do the go to home etc.
I've not seen this behaviour on other apps (although I haven't tried many.. new console) so it seems something is glitchy.
Sorry you're having trouble. If you can narrow this down at all, it would be a big help. Like giving a set of actions from when the voice UI worked, to when it didn't (e.g. 'had resumed video playback then 20 minutes tried to pause with voice').
Not sure if its related Dom, but tonight I was watching a movie with the wife and after the credits she wanted to see if there was a hidden scene (There wasn't) but during fast forwarding at the end the kinect was still in listen mode when the video ended. When it returned to the pre-play screen the kinect was listening but no commands were popping up on screen. The only way to get them back was to grab a remote and quit the plex app and restart.
It was the only time I've seen it happen so not entirely sure what caused it. There have been a couple times when going back to the main screen (plex home screen) after watching a show from on deck where the previous/next page commands are missing. When that happens I can normally stop listening and select to get them back though.
