This question has been around for a while, opening the lyrics shows “Error loading lyrics”
I’m not able to reproduce this. Can you try refreshing the album, then try playing the file again? Get me the server logs if you get the same failure.

Everything looks fine. Can you try in other Plex clients and see if you get the same. It may be a specific problem to the Plex for Mac app.

I’ve been trying to recreate this but I can’t. Can you enable logging in the Web client, reproduce the error, then grab the logs and send those to me.

The logs say that the lyrics could not be retrieved from LyricFind. Keep in mind that we don’t store the Lyrics, just the link to them. Has this worked for you in the past?
Before, when the lyrics button was displayed on the playback interface, the lyrics could definitely be displayed.
Now, when the lyrics button is displayed on the playback interface, most of the lyrics cannot be displayed, but there are still a few that can display the lyrics.
If the inability to retrieve lyrics from LyricFind is caused by network problems, the playback interface should not display the lyrics button, and some music can retrieve and display lyrics from LyricFind, indicating that the possibility of network problems is relatively small.

Did you play something else? Please continue using the Celine Dion song so it’s easer to track. Did you perform the Plex Dance as requested for that album?

Ok, so it shows a 404 error (file not found) when it is looking for the lyric file. So PMS thinks there is a lyric but it can’t find it. That’s causing the error. Let me try creating a test album with that song and see if I can reproduce the problem. It could be an issue that LyricFind has a bad file on their end.
Actually looking more at your logs. LyricFind didn’t even run to find lyrics. Are you using embedded lyrics in your files? Can you PM those 2 tracks so I can try.
I tried creating a test album and it shows it found 0 matching lyrics. It is very common for LyricFind to not have lyrics for other versions of an album other than the original, so it not finding lyrics for the Deluxe Edition is not unusual.

Do you still see the Lyric button? It looks like you still have the album in your regular library, so it may be reusing the old info. We need to clear out that info so it won’t reuse it.
