After my upgrade from PlexMediaServer-0.9.16.6.1993 to PlexMediaServer-1.0.0.2261-a17e99e-OSX my Lyrics seemed to disappear from all players that they appeared on before and worked. I’ve confirmed that I’m still logged in with PlexPass & that under “Settings > Server > Agents > Albums > Plex Premium Music” LyricFind is still at the top and still checked. I’ve done a Refresh All & Update Library , plus restated PMS, reinstalled & rebooted 2 x’s. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I upgraded to a Plex Pass now, and I’m seeing no lyrics. I created a new Premium Music Library, checked the user agents, refreshed the full library, but lyrics are nowhere to be found. I’m in Argentina so it’s not a country issue.
What clients are you guys using? I just checked Web and Android and I see lyrics in both of these.
Web, iOS. Mac Version of the server.
To clarify, I see the lyric button on web, but it’s greyed out. I’m trying in uber popular artists like Sia and Taylor Swift’s 1989 (the one used in the example in the Lyrics KB Article), so that shouldn’t be the issue.
Can you provide me the XML for one of these songs? If PMS has identified the lyrics, it will be indicated in the XML.

I do see that you are using the Deluxe Edition. I found that in some cases, the Lyrics are only matched to the original version. Try renaming the album and remove the “Deluxe Edition”.
As I said, in my particular case, I just (today) upgraded to the Plex Pass, so there’s no way for me to know. I’ll check the deluxe edition issue, but this is replicated throughout my library. so I wouldn’t say that’s what’s going on.

Ok, them I’ll need to see the logs. Refresh an album again then get me the agent log (last.fm or premium) and the lyricfind log.

Lyrics have disappeared for me too. Mac Server version 1.0.0.2261. Gone from iOS as well. All was good until recently.
I found this while looking for them on the new AppleTV released this week which was not displaying them either.

I told you to rename the file didn’t I. That won’t work. Sorry about that. Everything is still tied to the old album name. You need to Plex Dance (see my signature) the album. I’ll just need the lyricfind.log if that doesn’t work.
I did the dance, but the album appeared as Deluxe Edition Again, probably because of the file’s metadata. But as I said, there’s no album that matched with lyrics, so that can’t be the issue. If you want I can try refreshing some other album that’s not deluxe and pass the logs along.
