@timwoj Just following up on this, the behavior of Remount All Shares is still flaky, resulting in a hanging “Disconnecting” state with the spinning status icon. This is not expected behavior. To refresh my shares I need to disconnect and reconnect the share, re-entering my credentials each time. It’s frustrating but the reason for my post is just to report this behavior to you.

  1. Remove share
  2. Clear Network Storage Settings data and cache
  3. Reboot
  4. Clear Network Storage Settings data and cache (most likely not needed, but do it anyway)
  5. Mount share
  6. Reboot
  7. Profit?

I am also having the same problem. Changing the scanner for films worked, but no luck with tv-series. Have also tried renaming.
Tried disconnecting the share, restarting NAS, NVIDIA SHIELD, restarting plex server… Nothing helps.

This has been resolved long time ago. My everything up-to-date on the shield?

From the posts here, it looks like it, but I started experiencing it about 3 weeks ago. I have the latest Nvidia shield firmware. I have done all plex updates ( I will check version number later today).
After reading these posts, I managed to update my movies by changing the scanner to plex video scanner instead of the movie scanner, but I am not able to update or scan my tv-series.

Can you show us a screenshot of your TV Show agent settings? And settings of the respective library.

Hm looks ok, are no series picked up at all?
How is the folder structure in the “Tv-series” fodler?

It’s the same settings I have always had and they worked before. When I tried re-adding the source, I can see all folders for each show and I can also see each file, but the scann just works for a short while and then stopps and nothing has happened. Is it possible to see something in logs? The same was for movies, but that worked again after I changed the scanner. The TV series on my server has a folder for each series.

I noticed a new update to the plex server today and after updating the scanning of TV series works again. Hurray!
