I just update the Nvidia shield plex server to the version 1.13.4.5271
After I made the update, it not ad Movies anymore. I Inserted a new folder with another movie but the server not update the Library. Before no proble, it was working everything ok. It is a Bug?

Same here none of my libraries are scanning new content.

Having the same problem. I thought it was using a new video converter. Perhaps not. It was working yesterday prior to the update. Today it wouldn’t add any new titles. Should we roll it back and retry?
I am also unable to update my libraries with the new update. Since the update I can’t add media in either existing libraries or new ones.
I just updated my Plex Server on my Nvidia Shield TV to Version 1.13.4.5271. I can’t add any new content. I did a complete rebuild of my Nividia Shield, thinking I could correct the problem and now I have no libraries with any content!!! 
I’m running into this too. Just got a new Shield and about ready to return it. I have it pointed to the TV Shows and Movies Folder on an external USB drive, but scans are not returning anything.
Same problem - along with movies stopping several times, losing the server even though the shield has connection and is connected to the internet.
I’m in the same boat. I’ve been trying to figure this out all day!
Unfortunately it has to do with the latest Plex Media Server update. The solution (which is ridiculous) is to go into the Shield Settings, go to Apps, go to Plex Media Server, and then select some option to roll back updates / reset the app. You’ll have to create a new server each time you do this but it’s the only way.
To prevent this from happening again, go into the Google Play Store on the device, go to Settings, to Auto-update apps, and then choose not to automatically update apps. It’s such a pain. (Currently setting up my server for the third time)

…and live tv has disappeared only on shield even though it’s currently acting as the server.

Yep I’ve just spent my day rebuilding my PMS server. Now it seems all my content wants to transcode. I guess the rollback PMS is lacking Directplay support. Plus I need to sort out my viewing history using Trakt.
Looks like a late night ahead for me.
Yea, I have already gone down this route, uninstalling updates for PMS in the Google Play Store, which has taken me back to 1.11.3.4803, which in turn seems to have rendered my PMS completely useless
I too have tried the reset/rebuild and had to update the Server as it wouldn’t run any movies. Although the catalog of movies was rebuilt, trying to “Play” any of them just put me back to the catalog.
The latest Web Server completely lost the ability to update the library and made it completely unusable at this point. I hope the Devs are aware of the issue and this isn’t something that’s going to be sidelined for other things.
I am still pretty new with Plex and the Nvidia shield. How long does it normally take for bugs like this to be fixed?
In honesty, I have never encountered a severe a bug as this one - so your guess is as good as mine. I would assume it’s a really high priority for them, as not being able to add content totally defeats the purpose of Plex all together 
Same here, today i have updated my PMS and now i’m unable to add any content to my server. I don’t want to rebuilt my library (i have some thousands of contents) for the third time, Other solution a parte rebuilt all from scratch?
Wait the the next pms update. It is obviously a bug (look into your logs).

For Movie libraries, if you change the agent to Plex video scanner it will find new files. This option won’t work for TV shows but it’s better than nothing, until we get an update on the play store.

Gave up after wasting all day trying to get a new Shield set up. Just returned it and will go back to the old RELIABLE WDTV Live for my dad. Just wanted something new and simple that my dad could take back and forth between homes.
