Hello, I am trying to login at home with an Apple Iphone which just updated to IOS 16.1. I think the first time I tried to sign in, I had the wrong login but now I have verified the correct login but it still will not let me in. I read some other posts and Plex stated that after an hour or 24 hours the IP address would be released from a block. However, this has not happened. I also “forgot” and reconnected the Iphone which forced it to have a new IP address. Also, I uninstalled and re-installed the app from the app store.
Is it being blocked by some other ID? How can I finally login?

The block is on your public IP address, not the private internal address. Wait, or try connecting through the cellular connection, which would have a different IP than your home.

Hello, Thank you for replying! Unfortunately, I am still unable to login. I tried via a cellular connection. Also, I tried the next day after waiting. How long is the block on for? More than 24 hours? Any additional suggestions? I do use a VPN on the computer that is my plex server. Would that affect anything?
