I hope that you will be able to help

Logs from the Shield TV (2019 Pro version) : PMS-logs.txt (20.6 KB)

05-22 20:28:53.831 i: [FFmpeg] [ERROR] [tls @ 0x2b11467180] Peer certificate failed verification

That is the critical error. The Plex client app on the Shield is talking to the server app using the wrong certificate.

Using the Plex client app on the Shield, go into the settings. Find the section on the Plex Media Server and stop it. Give it a minute then start it up again.

Then go to your account page and sign out and back in. See if that helps. If not, I’ll probably need to see the full logs from both the client app and the server app. You can PM those to me if you don’t want to share publicly.

Ok thanks for the advice, I will try this and keep you informed of the result.

Got the new log, still seeing the same issue. Lets try resetting the player app in case it’s on that end. Go into the Shield’s app settings and clear the data for the Plex client app. NOT the server one.

You’ll need to re-link the app afterwards.
