I did not suggest it but it is a way forward I believe
@schnohnex - I would expect manual mapping of channels to work. It is tedious but may be you only need to do that for a few channels
I suggest waiting till after the completion of the DVR EPG upgrade maintenance session - announced here DVR EPG Maintenance
