The lineup is optimized to give priority to TV.
Radio is always secondary.
So only this 101 channel appears in the lineup
101 : ARD (Das Erste)
Similarly for 156, we have the TV Channel ORF 2
Can you get the tuner to only tune the TV channels ?

Good to hear that Plex should give priority to TV channels, apparently this is not what is happening in this specific case/lineup… Unfortunately the tuner (fritz.box) can not be set to a TV only mode. I will try to compile a current complete list for you.
TV Setup Landshut.zip (13.6 KB)
@sa2000 Enclosed please find a detailed XLS for the Landshut Kabel Setup as an example for Kabel Deutschland. It Shows for every channel number both the TV and the Radio Station, Matches HD and SD channels. It only Shows unprotected channels that are available on unencrypted DVB-C. I checked this against my TV and the channel list the Fritz.box internally generates when I run a scan. The Plex scan is incomplete and sometimes Matches Radio instead of TV.
We can’t support a tuner giving the same channel number for 2 different channels. The radio channels are bound to interfere with the attempts to map the available tuner channels to guide channels. We have no separate handling for radio and tv - they are all treated as tuner channels
OK, then I give up and I would suggest that Plex officially removes the support for DVB-C over Network tuners in Germany. The channel lineup with duplicate numbers does not pose a problem for other software, set-top-boxes or TVs, but if it is an internal limitation (and not just a faulty implementation in the community-supported driver for the fritz.box tuner), it is unfair to suggest to users that it might work and make them spend money on it without trial.
Grüße aus Deutschland, Boris
Does mapping by hand still work? If yes, I don’t see the issue here but we already had that discussion I guess
I did not suggest it but it is a way forward I believe
@schnohnex - I would expect manual mapping of channels to work. It is tedious but may be you only need to do that for a few channels
I suggest waiting till after the completion of the DVR EPG upgrade maintenance session - announced here DVR EPG Maintenance
I don’t see any changes after the maintenance updates. Should I?
625 nickjr HD on the München Ost lineup is btw lacking several airings in general and missing a lot of S/E in general. Is this something which might improve in the future? I tape several shows there for the kids.
If specific issues are raised, they will get flagged and investigated and fixed. Work is in progress at the moment to make sure the new 190+ local lineups are matched to post codes so that they can be seen by users. Adoption of the new lineups is still very low.
So if there are gaps, give me details.
Lineup name, channel number, channel name, times and timezone
For series - any issues that are impacting recording and identification of episodes, please do report these - what would be required for these:
Lineup name, channel number, channel name, Series Name, airing times and timezone and what is wrong and what it should be
Ok, so let me start with the most important one:
München Ost, 81476, 625 nickjr HD UTC+2
Paw Patrol no S/E information.
As an example 20.10. 01:15 to 03:05, but extends to a lot of other airings. See screenshot
Just to add more fuel, this is from today’s (21.10.19) guide, from 17:15 (Paw Patrol 31/03/19) on 625 nickjr:
Nickjr does not give S/E information on their homepage, but at least shows the episode names. Funny enough, they also have a gap from 18:00-18:00 in their guide on their homepage:
There are Paw Patrol airing with S/E information, so I guess your guide provider is generally able to get this from somewhere:
Good morning,
after several tries of getting all channels to show up, I need to give up. There might be a problem with the unofficial tuner support for fritz.box. Several channels simply do not show up, no matter what I start the first scan with (when I setup the tuner and do the first scan, I need to select from a number of cable channels that does not include the hyper-local lineups. No matter which one I chose, Kabel Komplett, Kabel Bayern or Kabel München (which maps 99% to Kabel Landshut), a number of channels like ZDF HD (113) simply fail to show up at all. WDR HD is scanned but not mapped to a channel. HR is scanned but mapped to SR. The two later ones I can change manually, but missing all of the ZDF channels looks like a tuner bug.
Your problem is, that the frequency lists are total rubbish. You have to edit them on your own, as plex doesn’t manage to update them.
Check for example: Live Tv sender

Thank you! This post here seems to have the solution right in the first entry:
Will try that next week. And am little bit angry that this info does not seem to get integrated into Plex release updates.
Yepp. Especially as Kabel Deutschland/Vodafone nowadays has almost everywhere the same frequencies. Difficult to understand.
@sa2000 any news?
@sa2000 anything happening here?
starting to happen.
I have setup a test environment and looking at the data for channel 625
I see it is a mixture of some Paw Patrol airings with season and episode numbers and some without.
This is a correct summary of what I wrote
Same applies for other shows there.
I have referred the anomalies for Paw Patrol to our provider - missing sequencing / original air dates for some
I am sorry but each series has to be investigated individually for issues. You can supply me with list of popular series where this also shows as an issue and I will look into it.
What about the channels without any guide?
233, 313, 333 and 605.
