Every connection is indirect and remote server always down

Server Version#: 1.25.8.5663
Player Version#: Not sure

Hey. So I have setted up a server on my Open Suse using the official package, everything seems fine until I tried to play something.
Every device who isn’t my computer where I setted up the server is listed as “Indirect”. For example the smart TV, both are in the same network, but when I play something on TV, the message of indirect appear and in the Control Panel of server I can see the “Indirect” indicator too.

When I tried to watch something outside my network (Like on my friends house) everything works except the resolution is always capped at 328p and I don’t have an option to maximize that. The videos have more resolution than that. I think this can be a problem with the plex router, because my “Remote Access” tab is always off, I can click on “restart” and the server goes up until 1 minute after it is take down again.

I believe the two problems are related, but have no sure.

Do you have a manual port forwarding on your router?
Are you using a static IP Address for your OpenSuse, or DHCP that maybe expires/renews rapidly?

My internet provider don’t allow me to access my router, so I cant make a port forward, this can be the problem?

I’m using a static IP here

Yes, it can

Maybe your ISP can switch the router into bridge mode, and then you can use your own router behind that?

I will try it. Thank you

Hey!
I talked to my Internet Provider and they make the port forwarding to me. Now the remote access dont fail anymore. But every connection still are listed as indirect and the quality capped at 328p

Looked up your server public address in our database, and the IP/Port is NOT open

Edit: you need to tell them to open up port 32400

Figured out one of the issues. I was configuring my static IP on the wrong place. Lost the whole weekend to find out I’m making things wrong haha. Sorry man.

The remote access downed after 20minutes yesterday (Just some minutes after I send message here =P) and I keep looking for answers.
After setting up a static ip in the correct way. I contacted the ISP and asked to make the port forwarding to the correct port and now the server downed after 5 minutes.

Just to have sure. The Remote Access tab says:
Private 100.100.1.100:32400 ← Public 200.200.2.200:0 x Internet

I need to port forward with the 100.100.1.100, right?
100.100.1.100 is also the IP I configured as my static

Thanks for all the support and sorry for the bad report. I’m learning about network and English isnt my best language =P

Talking with the ISP support, they told me just my computer IP is static =P
They charge me more to have an static public IP if I wanna one. But they opened the port to my current public IP and said they did a DMZ to the same IP (100.100.1.100), but the remote server keep down

Tried to ask them to port forwarding to 200.200.2.200 but they said this will not resolve nothing, so they didn’t do that.

This is not the address we see your server on!

See DM

Sorry. As pionted by you on DM, I have scrambled my addresses. Sorry for forgot to say that.

Talking with the IPS guy, they send me some infos:

1 - They can’t port forward to 200.200.2.200 because this isn’t a IP from my internt network
2 - In ZTE (brand of my router) they are redirecting for my internt IP
3 - My public IP isn’t static, and for that I need to pay more.
4 - They said if I access the public IP 200.200.2.200 they will redirect to my intern IP 100.100.1.100
5 - They make a DMZ for that port and I’m out of CGNAT

And looks to me like it’s working now

Yeah. In the end the issue was with my firewall. I opened the port on the firewall but for some reasons this didn’t worked, so I disabled the entire firewall and now it’s working
