Every few days I have to delete live TV-dvr and start again(vbox)

I use a VBOX for satellite TV. It works great but every 3-4 days I lose the EPG and the only way to get it all working again is to ‘delete DRV’ and start again. When this happens I can’t select any channel to play. The rebuild takes me about 30 minutes because the mapping of TV stations is so poor. I tried refreshing the guide, even tried option rescan but nothing works.

I’ve run out of ideas? Anyone???

The guide has to refresh, so either your db is corrupt or you are putting your server to sleep. Logs would help identify the issue.

Thank you for your response. However the server runs 24/7. Even if the server was down why doesn’t a refresh guide work once the server is brought up… A refresh guide works on the days it’s working until it fails. As a test I have turned off auto refresh guide.

Your previous comments made me think again i search for corrupt Tv guide which led to more than one instance of Plex running… 100% hit. Sorted. Many thanks
