I have many downloads on my iPad (iPadOS 17.6.1) that refuse to play. I just get the poster and an endless spinning circle. If I download something fresh, it plays fine. I’ve been searching for some time now for someone with a similar issue, but either my Google Fu is failing me or I’ve got a weird new issue.
Do you still experience this since the app was updated to version 8.39.1?
That version was supposed to fix a bug with old downloads no longer playing correctly.
There’s been a number of threads a few weeks ago and from what I remember, the fix actually worked for those users.
Yes, I’m on v8.4.0 and the issue persists. The videos still show as downloaded and are taking up space, they just refuse to play. I’ve tried both while connected to internet and not. Will uninstalling the player delete downloaded media? Thinking my last two options are a reinstall of the player or delete and redownload (on hotel wifi sad)
My downloads disappeared as well, althoug they are on my iPad storage and I have a valid subscription. This service is totaly untrustable and not recommended for that price. Yes, I am on the latest iOS and app version.
