External Plex Access GFiber issues

Good Morning all, I swapped out AT&T with GFiber yesterday, and I can’t find a way to access my media away from my HTPC. Whether it’s my phone on data, or any of my TVs

I’ve set up port forwarding (i think), and a static IP but I’m just not having any luck.

Any advice would be great.. I’m including a few screenshots because maybe I’m missing something obvious

I don’t know their products, so I can’t share screenshots. That being said, yours seem ok.

Can you verify the public IP seen by Plex matches the WAN IP of your router?
Have you verified if the public port of your forward is visible from outside your home network (e.g. using a service like canyouseeme.org)? If your port isn’t visible, try using a different public port… some ISPs block the default port.

The situation just took a confusingly odd turn:

On my phone, with Wifi turned off I can access my media, and it shows up in my dashboard on my HTPC

On my TVs (one hard wired into the router, one wifi) I can see the libraries, but I get the “Checking Speed” popup and the spinning wheel

This head cold isnt helping but this seems incredibly confusing

In Windows settings, ensure the network interface is private, not public.

Win10: Settings → Network & Internet → Status.
If Public, select Properties to change it then reboot the PC.

If set to Public, the PC is isolated from other devices on the network, such as your TVs.

You have a new ISP & router, so Windows thinks you are on a new network. It automatically chooses Public as a security measure.

Also, in the Plex app on the TVs, disable Quality Suggestions or Auto Adjust Quality if they exist. Neither is needed on a home network.
