Running plex media server on Shield TV with it set for 4TB external storage. Even though it is set for external storage, the media server must be using internal. Every recording fails with “There was not enough free disk space to start the recording”. Any ideas?
Is the 4tb drive adopted? or external
when you set a recording, you can check the path, I think.
It was external. The server was configured to use the external drive, but I can see in the logs that it is still trying to use internal storage.
Is anyone certain that 1.14.1.5488 on Nvidia Shield TV actually works with external storage? It is clearly storing codecs and plug-ins on my external storage. Every time it tries to record a program it fails. Does anyone have an idea how to get it working? My server is configured for external drive “4C3D-2846” (a 4 TB drive with lots of free space), but it always tries to store a program in /storage/emulated/TV Shows/.grab Does the server always try to store a TV Show in internal storage and then later transfer it to external? Is the only way for this to work to use the external drive to expand internal storage?
