I have set up my plex server on my new Nvidia Shield TV. Because of the limited internal memory on the new Shield I have attached an 8GB external storage drive (set up as external, not extended). My transcoder is directed to a directory on the extendeed drive. I can record programs normally. When I attempt to record with commercials being deleted I receive an error warning. The programs are recorded but still have the commercials. Does anyone have any thoughts? Is it the limited internal memory on the Shield?
BTW, if I record shows using a plex server on another device, everything works correctly.
