So basically if I download subtitles they work great on my main account. However if I log in as a one of home members or as an ‘invited’ user, those downloaded subtitles do not show up for these users;( All this time I was under impression that once downloaded subtitles would be available for EVERY account on this server but it turns out they are not even saved in the movie folder;(, (these are probably saved into plex database?).
Of course all embedded subtitles that comes with the original movie file work just fine. I only mean the additional, external subtitles.
Is there a way to configure my server settings, or subzero plugin settings so that once downloaded subs are made available for EVERY user on server?
And yes I know each user can download themselves the subs to their liking, but let’s face it, manual downloading is not that easy, and at many times just does not work unless you edit the movie file name properly. I am a techy person so this is not an issue for me, but most of my family and friends are not, and anything else than selecting audio/sub from the main menu is above their skills.
And by the way why the heck plex didn’t make it as a default feature/setting? Subs take next to 0 space, so why not make once downloaded subs available to all users is beyond logic.
