For the past month or so, I’ve noticed a huge degradation in the performance of my plex server.
I can’t pinpoint exactly after what update it started, but virtually every time plex is opened from varying devices, it will take anywhere from 1-2 minutes for the libraries to load up. Sometimes it will go unreachable once or twice before the libraries load.
During these instances, I’ve never seen the load on the container exceed any more than 1%.
Nothing on my network or server has changed. I’ve been running Plex on this current server for 4 plus years and on previous servers since 2013. My library is ~56TB in total, which accounts for ~80% of storage utilization.
I’ve tried running Chuck’s DB repair and also recreating the preferences.xml in hopes of it possibly being associated with some level of corruption somewhere. Neither helped.
I’ve attached the server logs in hopes that someone could provide some guidance.
