Fail to run package Nas

Everytime I try to run plex package it say fail to run package. I’m trying to run it on a Ds218+ nas. Can anyone help please? Thanks

Please do the following.

  1. Control Panel - Shared Folders - EDIT the Plex share - Permissions tab
  2. Give your username permission to R/W there.
  3. In FileStation, navigate into the Plex share
  4. Drill down until you see Logs
  5. Right-click and Compress to Logs.zip
  6. Attach that ZIP file here and we will see what is happening.
  7. If you can’t complete any of these steps, this is also valuable information.

Is there a way I can just reinstall my server without deleting my files?

If you uninstall the Package, your Metadata survives. I keep the program and your Library data separate.

The package and the metadata never touch your video files. They are always safe.

Deleted all plex files reinstall and still fail to run

to completely start over with Plex:

  1. Uninstall the package
  2. Control Panel - Users - delete the Plex user
  3. Control Panel - Shared Folders - delete the Plex share.
  4. Install the package.

Does it fail trying to install ? (Incompatible ?)
Which Synology model and which binary did you download?

I deleted everything and started over and it worked now, the remote access not working, everything is offline
