I am having issues with failed recordings and live TV not working.
Server is Windows 7 x64
Client is FireTV
I enabled network logging on FireTV and reproduced the issue. Server logs are attached.
The channel that kicked off the issues was 41.1. I did immediately play this channel back using the HDHR app and it tuned and played just fine so it does not look like a signal issue.
I shutdown the Plex server app and tried to restart it. It would not restart. I then use Windows task manager to kill the Plex Media service. I then was able to restart Plex and Channel 41.1 will now play successfully.
One bit of additional information. After the restart and successful live TV playback I got a freeze after about 10 minutes on 41.1 and a weak signal message on my TV screen. I exited and tried to restart playback in the FireTV app and it will no longer play.
I switched to the HDHR app and it plays perfectly. Zero issues.
I’m getting the same error as well. I have rebooted the PMS, and rescanned the antenna. I am running Ubuntu 18.10 with a hauppauge dual tuner. I have created a temp directory with chmod 7777 on the local SSD to see if that helps with no avail.
I primary use Apple TV as the client with tvOS 12.1(16J602) and the error is on this client. I tested my my MAC with a Chrome or Safari browser and did not get the error.
I tested my apple phone with ios 12.1.1 and the plex app version 5.7.2 and I am getting the error on this device as well
I’m thinking something is going on with the app when I close out the live TV session.
