I am having frequent recording failures. It seems to be the one show that my wife wants to watch on Plex, the Today show.
When I open the plex app on my iphone while it’s recording I frequently get a message “recording failure” with no explanation why it’s failed.

I have plex server Version 1.13.9.5456 installed on a new PC running Windows 10. Recording TV using Plex DVR and an HDhomerun 2-tuner device connected to the PC by cat5 cable. The HDHR is only used by plex.
All users access shows via ios devices, iphones/ipads.
Can anyone tell me how to troubleshoot this issue?
The recording of the Today show failed again today. When I went to watch the Today show using Live TV, while it was recording, I pressed play and chose “watch from the start”, and I got these messages on the screen. They’re in Italian, I’ve added the English translation:
“Impossible to evaluate the reproduction request - The channel cannot be tuned. Code: -1”. I know the tuner is working fine and the signal is strong because I later downloaded the HDhomerun app and could watch the show without a problem.
Would really appreciate any help solving this issue. I don’t want to give up on Plex DVR already, but I’m going to start looking for other recording solutions if I can’t resolve this quickly.
