Running Plex Server Version 1.9.0.4252 on Centos 7 with a HDHomeRun CONNECT.
Seems to work fine for most of the day and then it crashes and says it can’t tune any channels.
The Rest of Plex seems to keep working fine however.
the only way I seem to be able to fix the issue is by restarting plex, which takes about 1-2 mins when this lockup with live tv occurs.
This also stops my recordings from happening when it happens, atleast once a day.
Anyone?? this is rather frustrating as I’m missing recodings
If you can please collect logs before restarting plex and post them here so they can be examined.
And yeah when you restart plex your recording will break, you might be able to leave that until your recording completes.
Also I use HDHR Viewer 2 for most LiveTV as the Plex LiveTV isnt supported on my clients but also very new.
Hello I attached logs as requested, You misunderstood what I mean, the recordings never happen, they just stop randomly and then I have to restart plex to fix the issue.
when the crash happens you can’t watch live tv either, you get the following error
Unable to tune channel (No parts)
Reseting Plex appears to fix issue until it randomly breaks again, it can work fine for several days or stop working after only a few minutes.

Can you provide more details? What show is not recording? When was it supposed to start/end? We may also want to get a new set of logs. You currently have verbose logging turned on which outputs more details. You should only turn on verbose logging if a Plex Employee asks you for verbose logs. Typically debug logging is sufficient. If you can go into the settings and turn off verbose logging then restart Plex so just debug logging is enabled. Then we will need to wait for the issue to happen again. FYI, I did see in your logs where numerous shows were saying they were looking for a premiere episode and ignoring repeat airings. Which indicates that you have the series set to record “New Airings Only” as opposed to “New and Repeat Airings.”
It stops recording everything when it happens and live tv also doesn’t work.
