Feature Request: device limit per user account on Multi-User feature

Can we get a DEV to fix this? You guys know we want it and we pay to support you. And after this long, no devs has spoken.
Do you really need ppl to leave, befor you add this feature?

I really need this function! How do we promote it the dev team’s attention?

For everyone with Plex Pass, there is a forum for voting feature requests. Please go to the request in the link below and ā€œLikeā€ the original post to get your vote counted. The dev team has requested that we do it that way. Saying +1 here or even on that thread does not count! Let’s get this up to the top!

Done and Done!

For reasons stated in this thread, this is an important/critical feature… Ultimately, it is one that Netflix felt important enough to integrate, long ago

Yes please. Voted in original thread.

I would like this feature,

I agree with this. This would be a great plex pass feature. There is no stream control either on uploads speeds or number of users. This is such a headache to deal with.

Same as me, no plex pass but I would pay for this feature. I am kind of surprised this hasn’t made it in yet as it seems like it wouldn’t be that difficult to implement.

If i was him i will use the router Mac filtering address …just pick the mac address you want and block them he will never find out…
( ALLOW & DENY THATS IT)

OMG… BUMP This feature needs to be added STAT!

You can’t block remote MAC address as far as I know, only if they are on your network.

+1 I also would like this feature,
Thanks

ok. let say you give your wifi to your friends and family, soon they are connected to wifi it will leave footprints like mac address,ip and etc.the only way to remove that info is hard reset the router or clear the log…

This Needs to happen.

There is currently a great fan app called PlexSentry that performs many of these actions including allowing you to use a second email address to send automated ā€œAdminā€ messages to users that violate your limits.

This would be a great feature to add to Plex.
