After Plex Live TV exited its beta stage I thought we would see this implemented. I can enable Live TV already for a “Home” user but not “Friend”. Kind of silly considering I could take that same Friend and add him to the “Home” side of things and everything works but with the added headache of switching and logging in Pins between Home users. Don’t know if this topic has been started and if so move this to correct channel but I’d like to see Plex continue to grow with these great features added.
This won’t happen. Sharing live TV is restricted intentionally to family members.

Live TV is copyrighted - like most other audio/video content.
Sharing that with not only the family but a bigger circle of friends cannot be considered ‘fair use’ anymore.

Anyone can be given “Home” capabilities, the whole sharing my library with my “Friends” cannot be considered ‘fair use’ if we go with that concept. Anyone from Plex team want to join us here?
Can we get this option on our servers Plex Team?
