@Arjan1105 See the only thing I don't like is the word favorites for such feature. A favorite is something that you favor. You can not favor something that you don't know anything about. Similarly to movies and tv shows. I can't set a movie that I have never seen before as afavorite. However it is a great idea for Plex to have a favorites option for the movies lovers who wants to share their experience with others.
"Have you ever seen this one? Top Gun. It's a great movies. Great story, great casts, great plot. It's a classic. One of my all time favorites." - You can't say the same about something in your "watchlist" because you haven't seen it yet.
I totally agree, it was just a example of an implementation that was in past versions if i am correct, but isn't anymore.
Therefore it shouldn't be too difficult to create the Watchlist feature, which shows some similarity, although not exactly the same.
However, i think that when the playlist support is implemented in PHT, we can use this as a watch list feature.
This is exactly what i did in xbmc.
I created a playlist called Watchlist, which was a so called "smart playlist".
Which actually means that i could set a rule like "times watched=0".
Then when i browsed through my library and saw a movie i wanted to have in my Watchlist, i opened the context menu and chose the option "add to playlist, and chose Watchlist.
It then would appear in my Watchlist, and when it was actually watched, it dissapeared.
This would also be possible with the playlist feature in Plex, unless we cannot set specific rule. Then we would have to manually delete the item from the playlist, which is not that bad, as long as this will be possible from within the client, in this case PHT, and not from within the web client, because it would be tedious to start the web client every time you want to delete something from your playlist.
I think we can expect the new release of PHT any time now, so let's keep our fingers crossed that it features a proper playlist functionality!
