The sync option is one of the best new features. But it's needed to know what is synced and what not.

For me is the function to show only synced content missing.

I mean you can put the device in airplane mode to quickly see, but something dedicated would be a nice “view” to have.

Not exactly what you suggested, but starting in version 3.1 of the iOS app (pretty sure it’s 3.1), you can swipe up from the bottom to quickly select Online, Wi-Fi Only, or Offline modes. I think this would accomplish the same thing.

Connectivity settings have been available since 3.0 (Settings → Connectivity). This allows you to put Plex into an offline mode that will only show synced content. Version 3.0.2 added the swipe-up ability that phroenips mentioned
