I had the above issue which was driving me around the bend, I hadnt used Plex for a few months and we decided to watch a movie that we had saved to the Mycloud drive. What a PITA.
First thing I did was to update Plex server to check that wasnt the issue, but all of the libraries were empty and when i tried t oupdate metadata etc none of it worked. Its as though Plex just wasnt talking to the Mycloud drive.
I then came by something on the forum about updating plex server on he Mycloud, it didnt really explain what to do but I went here My Cloud Home and then clicked on Plex Media Server and then Configure. I don’t know what this did, but about 3 mins later Plex popped up in my Chrome browser and everything was back again as it should have been.
