Hi out of blue plex wont sync or stream my cloud home content tried everything

Is this about a Plex Media Server running on that My Cloud Home NAS or do you have a Plex Media Server on a different platform that’s only using the My Cloud Home for storage?

So… I take it your server is up and running? Can you access the libraries etc. alright using the hosted or bundled versions of Plex Web?

Yes server still is up and running i can view the content via the Mycloud home app
I can’t access the libraries from any Plex platform (i have a premium account). Plex recognizes i have added the server but i can’t view the libraries as it keeps stating “My Cloud Home is currently unavailable”. libraries are not showing.
The plex app version installed in the Mycloud Home app is 'app version 1.18.6.2350

Can you try updating the version of the Plex Media Server installed on your My Cloud? That’s a pretty old release from February last year…

how can i manually update it in the server of Mycloud doesnt seem to have a button for that - appreciate any tips on that front
Update should be available through the My Cloud’s (app) control panel.
When you’re checking out the control panel… can you verify the Plex Media Server on the My Cloud is actually running?
If the control panel says the server is running but it’s not showing anywhere, we’ll need to look into your logs.
Given the server itself isn’t showing, this is a little tricky and will require you to connect to the NAS via SSH to access the NAS’ Plex data directory (/mnt/HD/HD_a2/plex_conf/Plex Media Server/
