Server Version#: 1.21.2.3943
Player Version#:Plex web 4.51.1
I was getting the update notice on my Plex Home Screen, so I downloaded the latest server version through the Plex website and then installed via package centre.
One the installation was complete, I restarted Plex, went to my Home Screen and was greeted with the message “Your home screen is empty”. When I click on my server, non of my libraries are listed.
I’ve done this process numerous times before and never had any problems, so I’m a little stumped as to what’s gone wrong this time. Is there any way to get my libraries, played statuses etc. back, without creating new libraries?
Thanks, sorry I’ve been away from my local network for a few days so couldn’t continue immediately.
I’ve now rebooted the router and devices.
I went to Plex Settings but couldn’t see a way to ‘claim the server’
The DSM looks to be on the correct DNS that I’m running, (currently the one set by the router) wanted to check on the claiming server bit before moving to a different DNS.
Hmm, not sure how I’ve managed that, but makes sense why the libraries have disappeared.
My Plex share is still there, with the following folders. Would it be something else than what’s in this list?
I may have got a back up of the share, is there a specific folder I’d need to restore if I can find it in there?
Really appreciate the support you’re providing by the way, thank you.
No, I’ve only got the one account. I’ll have a look and see if the back up works, if not I guess I’ll have to recreate the libraries. Many thanks for your help.
