Files won't play

Files play through plex on the plex app on the computer where the server is but they won’t play on any other device, even devices connected to the same network.

And when i’m on my phone, and connected to the wifi, I can see all the video files, but I get an error message about not being connected to the internet when I try to play them.

So I just tried something. On my phone, on chrome, I went to plex.tv and tried to play files. It worked just fine. So it seems to be something with my app on my phone not wanting to play.
