Plex screws up and now I can’t access my server? I don’t know what NAS I have, I just want it to work like it did yesterday. Absolute bullshit, tell me again how valuable my privacy is to you
Instructions for that are to the letter in the guide linked in the e-mail you’re referring at. No hard emotions needed…
I’m in the same boat here, also had something strange happening with a double account I think. Got that resolved but now I am getting stuck at the reclaim server step 3/4. The server does not show up.
I am working with a synology NAS. I am connected via the local IP. What to do?
I’m gonna look into this now:
For various Linux-based server platforms look at Server credential reset utility for Linux-based platforms
alterntively specifically for Synology Synology FAQ - Questions, Answers, and a few How-To's - #21 by ChuckPa
Oke thx, I managed with that claim tool. But this is still a freaking nightmare. I hate terminal stuff.
How can i tell what NAS im using? All my media is on a seedbox and i watch it on Android devices and xbox.
It looks like you are not using a NAS device at all.
Your Plex server is located on your seedbox. Which means the instructions for claiming a Linux-based server do apply. Server credential reset utility for Linux-based platforms
(Unless the datacenter which offers these seedboxes has customized the Plex installation. In which case you should contact them.)
That did the trick, thank you kindly…rage subsiding…
