I received the mail about the security issue (“Important Notice of Security Incident “) and I reset and changed my password. However, after logging back in, I lost access to my server. I still see its name in the servers list but it’s listed as “unreachable” with a red alert triangle.
Tried editing the preferences.xml file, as recommended, but no luck getting access.
I am using Synology NAS DSM 7.2.2
Could someone help me regaining access?
You’ll need to reclaim your server.
There’s multiple options to do this. If you’re on the same network, simply open http://[Syno NAS IP]:32400/web → then, go to Settings > [Server Name] > General and click the claim button at the center of this settings page.
Are you on the same network (and subnet) when attempting to claim your server?
Have you verified the server wasn’t previously linked to a different account?
Ja und es ist auch mein Account. Lediglich sollte ich nach dem Plex-Hack mein Passwort ändern, dies hatte ich auch leider gleich getan.
Was muss ich jetzt genau tun um wieder an meinen Plex Server zu kommen.
Per SSH was genau eingeben und ändern bzw. löschen?
Ich bin zwar kein DAU (dümmst anzunehmender User) aber mit SSH hatte ich halt noch nie zu tun.
