Films in multiple collections with different display options

Ok, so I’ll try to explain what I’d like to do; I have a load of Disney Pixar films, all in one collection of the same name. now because there are some one-shots like Up I have told the collection to display both films and collection in my library. However, I also have some of the (like the Toy Story films) in a separate toy story collection. I’d like to hide the individual toy story films, so only the Toy Story collection is visible. It seems Plex, because of the Disney Pixar collection display option, still shows the individual toy story films. Is there a way of having one collection (Disney Pixar) displaying individual films unless part of another collection that hides them? if that makes sense…
Or even a way of adding a collection to another (eg adding toy story collection to the Disney Pixar collection?

No and no, unfortunately. If a movie is part of two collections which disagree about the ‘visible in library’ flag, Plex defaults to ‘visible’.

I think you could get rid of the Disney collection, because a filter for ‘Studio’ might achieve the same thing.

I have this issue too. It would be nice if Plex would let you pick which collection rule to follow if a movie has two or more collections.
