+1 100% needs an optional filter in the various Plex clients in the Universal Watchlist for “UNWATCHED” as per “UNPLAYED” filter on Plex libraries. Particularly for when new episodes are available for a show you’re in the process of watching.

It’s staged rollout, so exact timeframe wouldn’t be known when the new update will show in store. I am also patiently waiting. : )

Looks like it is a promising additional feature, congratulations but methinks mind-bogglingly complex to control all the variables across all the various territories and combos of streaming services!
Still in very early stages of playing but … a quick few bugs I have found so far.
Here in Australia, linking through (deep linking?) to shows on the ABC iView, Stan, Britbox Apps (and maybe others) not working on Apple TV Plex client, whereas they DO work on my Android TV (Shield TV Pro) Plex client OK …
Binge streaming service (and maybe others?) don’t appear to be being included in Searches on Apple TV client. A known show (“Face To Face” 2019) appears in search results on Android TV but not on Apple TV client.
Also, not convinced that SBS On Demand streaming service is being included in Searches at all, on either Apple or Android TV clients, even though I have it selected as one of “My Services”. Can’t get a known show (again using “Face To Face” 2019) to appear at all.
Also, if I quit the Android TV client and restart it, I get prompted again with the Discovery “start wizard” screen, even though I’ve selected my Streaming Services and hit “Done” quite a few times - any way to turn this off? Doesn’t happen on Apple TV or macOS clients so far …
I’m acutely aware this feature is Beta but just observing it’s usefulness to me when “finished” will be directly related to the degree to which (for my Market/Region) it is comprehensive, 100% accurate, and very up to date, otherwise I’ll probable tire of it pretty quickly and hide it and/or turn it off.

There isn’t a way to filter that. But once things are stable and know what all options are on the table you can request it as a feature.
I fail to see the point with this Discover-thing: it’s not recommending anything relevant to my interests, it’s just recommending stuff the average populace may find interesting + kid-stuff, making the entire thing entirely 100% irrelevant for me. As usual, there doesn’t seem to be any way, whatsoever, of indicating what I am interested in and what I’m not or otherwise tuning anything – it’s “too confusing” to let people actually express their own interests!
Meh. A hard thumbs down. 
Anything added to the watchlist from my personal media ignores my server’s metadata, so it’s listing stuff in there with incorrect names and some really bizarre default posters. There doesn’t appear to be any way to edit the listings in there to correct that, so right now the feature is pretty useless to me. And since it can’t be turned off/opted out of, right now the sum of my experience of it is just an annoying bar unnecessarily taking up space at the bottom of my home screen

Found a bug, looking at a TV Show it’ll show my preferences in “Watch from these locations” but if I go to a specific episode it shows me random choices and ignores my selected streaming services.
I hope the endgame is If Plex could create a way to watch all streaming platforms through the discovery app… That would be a game changer. Even if the method is really just a chrome browser hidden within your app.

I live in Israel and we have netflix and amazon prime and apple tv+ but I can’t see any services? What’s the problem? Is it for EU and US only? Is there any way around this restriction?
In order to get Discover available I had to:
Desktop/browser: use the direct link for the streaming services setup https://app.plex.tv/desktop/#!/settings/streaming-services
iOS: completely delete the app and reinstall
Reloading as well as logging in and out did not do anything.
Don’t think that will happen nor providers will allow such a thing imo.
None of the integrations to the UK apps (BBC Iplayer, All 4, ITV Hub) seem to work on my Sony TV at the moment. If I find a movie/episode and select one of the above services, it just takes me to the play store search. It might be because these apps all ‘live’ under Sony Select so can’t be called directly?

I can’t make it work though. When clicking on ‘Select my streaming services’, a popup appears for half a second and disappears. Then I can’t do nothing.
I guess I will have to wait a bit to use it
