On a system that previously was working perfecly, with no alternations or changes in any way, the fire stick app now home page keeps failing to refresh, somtimes can’t connect and the continue watching and on deck lists are missing. When I exit a show everything on the home page shows as failed and needs a refresh.
The TV Shows and Films menus work as usual, and watching media works perfectly. It’s just problems with the home page.
I also have sporadic problems with the android plex app home page on my projecter. Everything works on web app and windows app from other computers.
I have when trouble shooting, adjusted ip6 settings, and returned to as before. I have optimised the library and completely replaced it with a rebuild copy from a dump.sql file. I have rebooted the server, router and fire stick.
The server is a 8 core bulldozer pc with windows server 2016 running on ssd, with an external 40gb datastore for media.
I uninstalled the fire app and reinstalled. The continue watching and on deck appeared on first use then disappeared as soon as I watched a show.
That’s only a small part of my problem. My On Deck has also disappeared, but is still there in the screen shots on that thread. Plus i have continued home page connection failures, only from fire stick.
I’m also having this problem, no On Deck, and it’s been an issue for while (maybe around the time this thread was created). I reinstalled Plex Server as well as the App on my firestick 4k and fire TV… When trying to edit the home screen it may “appear” for a split second as an option but disappears prior to being able to read the option that goes away… I have 5 Fire devices (3 - 4k, 1 - fire TV as a part of the TV, and a Fire TV Cube) and all of them got the same problem at the same time… When loading the interface on the server itself (in Edge) I get an On Deck option… It would seem to be an issue with the App in the Amazon store…
