My Fire Stick 4k stops playing live tv every few minutes and exits out to the guide. Please review my attached logs and let me know if you need anything else to troubleshoot this.
(edit: I am using default plex settings on the fire stick, including using the new player.)
Here are some log entries that stick out to me at the point it crashed

Same here. Trying to watch live tv and it keeps kicking back out to the guide every couple of minutes. I have log files as well if needed.

Sadly this is now also an issue on windows. The fire stick had Beth having this issue for more than a month now but as of today my windows so that just updated is now broken too.
My hopes are on the iOS app still working, trying that now.
Here is something Iāve noticed with this issue that maybe others can see if it holds true for them: Live TV sessions that suddenly stop after a few minutes never appear in the āNow Playingā area of the Dashboard. However, when I occasionally donāt have the issue those Live TV sessions do appear on the Dashboard.
It is almost like PMS has no knowledge that any client is using that transcode session and so it gets stopped.
Same here. Plex doesnāt show my live tv streams on the dashboard at all.
I wish Plex was an open source project, I would be up to my ears in code fixing (or attempting to fix) this right nowā¦
@Francis-Auger, disabling Transcode interlaced live tv sort of helps but brings its own issues and bugs. With that setting, more than half of my channelsā audio is out of sync to the point I canāt watch. Like at least a second or more. I started a new thread a few days ago for that bug but havenāt heard a response. There also seems to be an issue when trying to tune a channel, sometimes it will just hang until you select a different channel and then go back to the original channel. Fire Stick 4k Live TV audio sync bug with "Transcode Interlaced Live TV" Disabled
My Plex client on my Fire 4K Stick is v8.8.1.21332 (0798457a). I am not sure that I have ever seen consistent playback on live TV. Thatās surprising because everything else besides live TV plays perfectly. Live TV used to buffer and lock up constantly. Now it locks up less frequently, but always exits back to the guide within 5 minutes. As mentioned earlier, my Roku client and my Samsung Smart TV clients never have an issue with live TV.
I prefer the Firestick 4k as a client to the Roku because I am deeply vested in Amazon automation. Also, I much prefer anything that does Android TV as opposed to Roku or proprietary Smart TV because I have the option of running any Android image.
I had considered getting an Nvidia Shield, but both the price and lack of significant built in storage has dissuaded me. My Fire TV 4k is a constant source of annoyance with the lack of storage. The 8GB device uses a solid 3GB for the OS and with a small collection of apps I generally have maybe 850MB free. Iāve had external storage configured on it, but lately changes to FireOS have caused that storage to be disconnected.
I have considered the new Chromecast with TV, but again, the same storage issue. Why donāt these folks put 16GB in instead of a stingy 8GB? Have they ever used one of these devices? I often wonder if the Plex Live TV on the Fire Stick 4k is resource constrained somehow.
Same issue here. I see this issue when local on my network and from my remote servers. My guests also have this issue, with Local and remote access from their own server.
I hope this issue gets looked at as Iāve come to lean towards Plex, became a life-time Plex user, and was planning to get away from my buggy Amazon Recast. Recast works ok, up until the DVR gets to 75% full.
