Interlaced video is only supported on the Firestick 4k. The rest of them need transcoding…
Sorry, what’s being disabled? Are you referring to a setting inside of the Amazon device settings?
Sorry, Trying to talk to too many people haha. Yes it’s in the Firestick 4k plex app under settings. If you disable “transcode interlace live TV” which allows Live TV to Direct play it cause the audio video to go off track. When this is enable it has not happened so far:).
I had the same thing happen, until I disabled Audio Passthrough. That cleared up the syncing.
Ill give that a shot, Thank you!
Sorry. It’s possible that firestick is not a 4k. I have another firestick that I believe to be a 4k, running live tv for 40 minutes.
This is great, thanks Sixones
Good call that did fix it. I knew that caused audio issues but man. Audio and video was way off by at least a good minute or two lol. Thanks
I don’t listen to spanish audio but I tested it out and it crashed. Here are the logs.
Also, feel free to use my server for testing live TV, I have access to plenty of stations with multiple audio streams.

Too bad I’m only getting about 20 hours of guide with this version and it won’t reverse.
** edit ** Nevermind, it is probably due to the upcoming daylight savings time change. It should work fine tomorrow.
I am seeing the same thing in the guide. I can only see ahead 20 hours then it stops. Once I get to 20 hours I cannot scroll back left.
Here is a log for a failure which crashed back to main screen on firetv. projector.txt (1.1 MB)
And another log for a firetv that froze. UpperRightTV.txt (1.1 MB)
Both logs are from TVs that I left running on single channel. Not sure exactly when they froze. Just pulled the logs when I got back to them.
see attached log. This time the tv program played for a few minutes then both the picture and sound froze once plex restarted I could not get any thing to to play again without a reboot of the firestick
plex 13_03_21.log (1.1 MB)
@npraphael
According to your logs, you are running App version: 8.14.0.23432
Can you install the 8.15 version that Sixones posted above and see if that fixes it? It fixed most of my issues…
Anyone with a mi box s may want to try 8.15 out (if the developers want to have that tested) I can tell you right now it doesn’t work right on there for channel start up
. I tried it for a curiosity.
Just here to confirm the same issues on my Shield and Google TV. It seems to happen randomly but after a few hours. Have log if required, but I’ve installed the 8.15 build on both clients and plays fine currently. Will have to wait and see if it has fixed the buffering/stuttering issue.
Live TV guide isn’t working anymore for me. Spinning circle. Restarted server and firetvs.
Whats on and DVR schedule still work.
Glitch with the time change coming up? I think this happened last fall.
I can’t tune any channel. Even selecting something from What’s on doesn’t work. Web interface works fine. So it isn’t the server. Definitely a issue with this build.
